David Cofield

David has been employed at SuniTAFE since 2008, firstly as a teacher in the Electrical Department, and in 2013 moved into his current role of Business Manager for Trades Mildura. Whilst teaching, David completed a TAFE Teaching Fellowship through the TAFE Development Center as well as completing his Graduate Diploma in VET through Latrobe University. 

Having been an apprentice himself, and attending TAFE to complete his apprenticeship, David has a passion for TAFE and the important role it plays in both education and the community. David has a very keen interest in the future of TAFE’s and particularly SuniTAFE and its contribution to the local communities. 

David was appointed to the SuniTAFE Board in January 2021.
