commencing off the job training. SuniTAFE can provide guidance to assist in
identifying appropriate employment opportunities.
A Traineeship is a contract between an employer and an employee for the
provision of training and employment over a period of time. The employee
(trainee) is given the opportunity to undertake practical training both on and
off the job in order to meet the requirements of a specific qualification.
Traineeships can commence at any given period over a calendar year, and vary in
duration.
Trainees must first secure employment in their chosen field before commencing
off the job training with SuniTAFE. New Apprenticeship Centres can assist
prospective trainees in identifying appropriate
employment.
