TAFE Kids

TAFE Kids Inc. is an National Child Care Accreditation Council (NCAC) accredited Long Day Care provider, managed by a Committee of Management and caters for up to 60 children at any one time.

We provide child care for families using TAFE facilities and also for families of the community. The Centre is a strong supporter of Multiculturalism which is integrated into the children's daily activities and programs.

TAFE Kids is open all year round except for Public Holidays, and for approximately one week over Christmas/New Year. There is no charge for public holidays, and any other times we are closed.

  • Qualified, experienced and friendly staff.
  • Weekly programs that are child focused on display in each age group.
  • Records of children's daily activities, eating patterns and sleep routine for parent information.
  • Nutritious home cooked meals including morning and afternoon snacks (special dietary requirements are catered for).
  • Nappies.

Noah's Ark funding is available to approved additional needs children. Child Care Benefit, Jobs, Education and Training Child Care Fee Assistance (JETCCFA) and other benefits are also available through the Family Assistance Office.

The Centre has an access policy that gives high priority to children of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander families.

Centre based care available to children from 6 weeks to 12 years.

Bookings must be made in advance as vacancies may be limited. Inspection of facilities is invited and inquiries welcome.
