The Gambetta Library provides SuniTAFE and La Trobe University students with
books, journals, magazines, DVDs, databases, audio visual equipment, computers,
study rooms and related resources. Many of these are also available for use by
the general public. It is north west Victoria's largest student library. Most of
its items cannot be found in the council or secondary school libraries in the
region.

The Library also has many computers and tables for students to use while
studying, and study rooms available for group study.
The Library staff will also proofread student assignments on
request, and offer study and internet skills sessions to class
groups. If you are a student interested in such a session,
please talk to your teacher.
Non-students can also borrow from the library, and use the
computer room, if they purchase a Community Membership. This
costs $55 ($33 concession) for 12 months, or $27.50 ($16.50) for
6 months (inc GST). Students from universities may join as
community borrowers at concession rates with proof of current
enrolment.
Year 11 and 12 teachers and students (and Year 10 students
completing a Year 11 or 12 subject) can receive a free community
membership if they complete an appropriate form.
The Bookshop sells SuniTAFE and La Trobe textbooks, software,
memory sticks, phone credit, greeting cards, stationery and art
supplies, plus hospitality clothing and equipment. Second-hand
books are available for purchase, and are sold for students on
commission. Booklists for all current SuniTAFE and La Trobe
University (Mildura) courses are also available.
The shop
additionally offers a book repair service, and can laminate
books, posters, certificates and other items.
The shop has EFTPOS facilities, and maintains accounts for
approved customers (such as businesses and government
departments). It also takes orders and holds. It is recommended
that textbooks be ordered before the start of semester.
The Printroom offers full-colour public printing services,
including stapling and booklet making. It can also produce large
batches of CDs and DVDs, with printing on the top if desired.
