This entry level qualification is intended for enrolled school students interested in the metals engineering industry with a view to entering into employment in that area. This qualification will equip graduates with knowledge and skills which will enhance their prospects of employment in a metal engineering or related working environment.
This qualification is not linked to a specific job. It imparts background skills and knowledge required for entering the engineering industry. It provides exposure to skills that can be applied to a range of jobs across the engineering industry.
