Through conversation and class activities you will gain the skills to undertake further education and training, to seek and maintain employment and to participate independently in the community.
Further Education and Employment Opportunities.
Students can pathway from Certificate III in Spoken and Written English onto further Training opportunities at SuniTAFE. Students are encouraged to contact staff at SuniTAFE to learn about other courses that are offered.
Classes are offered at varied times both night and day classes. Progression through the course is dependent on the learner and their ability to learn a second language. Courses are delivered from the Mildura and Swan Hill Campus with the expectation that students undertake a certain amount of unsupervised hours which will be subject to reasonable adjustment on a case by case basis.
Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals.
