A licence to perform high risk work is required if you work with high risk equipment or plant. Most forklift use is categorised as “high risk”. The forklift licence is valid in every Australian state and territory, enabling you to operate high risk equipment under consistent standards everywhere in Australia. Students need to be over 18, have a good command of the English language, and must supply their own work clothes including boots. Photo ID is also required. Please note $60 is to be paid to Worksafe to collect the licence on completion paid via Australia Post. 2 Passport pictures are required to complete the application, these can be done at Australia Post. Graduating students will be WorkSafe compliant, once they receive their licence. This qualification is valid in Australia.
Warehousing, transport and logistics.
Certificate III in Warehousing Operations, Certificate II in Driving Operations.
This course is held over a 3 day period, with classroom theory and practical assessments as directed by WorkSafe.
Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals. Students need to be over 18, have a good command of the English language, and must supply their own work clothes including boots. Photo ID is also required. Please note $67.60 is to be paid to WorkSafe to collect the licence on completion paid via Australia Post. 2 Passport pictures are required to complete the application, these can be done at Australia Post. Graduating students will be WorkSafe compliant, once they receive their licence. This qualification is valid in Australia. Students must reside in Victoria or close to the VIC/NSW border.
