The Certificate II in Engineering gives you the entry level skills and knowledge you will need to get a head start in the engineering and manufacturing fields. You will develop basic level skills in OH&S, use of hand tools , use of power tools, machining operations, fabrication techniques and engineering sketching and drawing.
This qualification could lead to employment as an apprentice, as a labourer or workshop assistant. You will gain employable skills but you will also be equipped with the basic knowledge to proceed into further education in this area. You might like to think about a direct pathway into the Certificate III in Engineering.
Certificate III in Engineering
This qualification takes 1 Year to complete. Delivered as a 12 month traineeship.
