SuniTAFE’s Automotive Department hosted an information night about electric vehicle safety on Thursday 23 February.

The event was organised for the local CFA and was designed to spread awareness about the dangers of electric and hybrid vehicles.

Automotive teachers Will Sharpe and Anthony Ietto discussed several features of electric vehicles and the potential risks these pose to first responders.

SuniTAFE’s collection of electric and hybrid vehicles and trucks were showcased at the event, along with state-of-the-art teaching resources and technology.
