We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic professional for the role of Teacher – Heavy Automotive to join the Heavy Automotive & Engineering team at the Mildura campus. 

As the Teacher – Heavy Automotive, you will be required to contribute to planning, marketing, teaching and assessing Heavy Automotive qualifications up to and including Certificate III level, including apprentice, pre-apprentice and school-based teaching programs (VETDSS).   

Applicants will be required to have:

  • Certificate III Heavy Automotive or above is essential to this position.
  • A current Certificate IV TAE (40116) or willingness to obtain is essential to this position.
  • Minimum of three years professional industry experience.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Successful Working with Children Check and Criminal Record check is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach in the delivery area at tertiary and higher education level is desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to provide:
  • A successful criminal record check which is less than 6 months old
  • A working with children check
