Students who have completed the Certificate III in Business could further their studies with enrolment into areas such as Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookeeping and Pathway to Cert IV in Business.
This course is completed via traineeship and flexible/online delivery. This qualification is suitable for new and/or relatively inexperienced clerical and office workers, or those who aspire to such a role. The course is designed for study off campus and access to a workplace (office) is highly desirable. The course applies adult learning principles of self-directed learning and students are required to maintain monthly contact with their teacher.
Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals. Trainees' must be employed under the Australian Apprenticeship Scheme, at the commencement of the traineeship, the trainee and employer will be required to sign a training agreement which specifies the duration and type of training arrangements entered into and comply with Institute requirements.
