Certificate III Parks and Gardens provides you with the skills for trade level roles in the parks and gardens industry including gardener, greenkeeper and groundsperson.

Pathways

This qualification can lead to further studies at a Certificate IV in Horticulture or other Horticulture industry specific qualifications at Certificate IV levels.

Course Delivery

Delivery is over a 3-year period with students attending classes 1 day per week during school terms.

Entry Requirements

Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals. Students must be working within the parks and gardens industry. Apprentices must have a registered training contract agreement with their employer.
