The Certificate IV in Conservation and Ecosystem Management course will equip you with the technical skills and knowledge of the latest technologies required to pursue a career in the Conservation and Ecosystem Management industry. Participants will gain knowledge and skills in monitoring terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity, producing maps, planning and managing seed collection and revegetation projects, developing community programs, identification and management of weeds and pest animals, developing relationships with local indigenous groups, planning fieldwork, and managing projects.
This qualification may lead to career opportunities with a range of organisations in roles such Landcare Facilitator, Project Firefighter, Catchment Officer (Water, Biodiversity, Community, Indigenous), Project Officer (Biodiversity, Revegetation, Waterways & wetlands), Bushcare Officer, Land Services Officer (Native Vegetation, Grazing, Wetlands), Bushland Management Officer, Cultural Heritage Officer, National Parks Ranger.
