The 2 day AgVet Chemical Users Course allows you to develop the skills and knowledge required to assist you to comply with State/Territory licensing requirements for the purchase and application of agricultural chemicals in primary industries.
This course provides the required training for many Industry Quality Assurance Programs and is necessary to apply for the Victorian Agricultural Chemical Users.
The two units AHCCHM307 Prepare and apply chemicals and AHCCHM304 Transport, handle and store chemicals provide credits towards the partial completion of a number of courses within the AHC (Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management) Training Package.
The course is delivered flexibly and part-time. 2 Day part-time classes are scheduled throughout the year. Part-time courses can be delivered to groups of 10 or more participants off campus. Off campus flexible delivery is also available (Additional charges will be applied for off campus delivery).
Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals.
