Overview

This course is designed to provided advanced diagnostic training for Automotive Technicians who wish to further develop their diagnosis and repair skills.

Students can choose to carry out further studies in the Diploma of Automotive after completing this course.

Course Delivery

This course will be delivered over a 26 week period of full time study (including course delivery, assessment, public holidays and breaks).

Entry Requirements

Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals. Those undertaking a Certificate IV Automotive qualification must have completed an automotive Certificate III qualification. Students will be working in the automotive industry which will reduce time required to complete units. Students will already have extensive industry experience which will again reduce time to complete units.
