The Course in Initial General Education for Adults provides migrant students who have low literacy, language and numeracy skills with the opportunity to build confidence, engage with learning and pathway into AQF qualifications.
This course will enable you to pathway into Certificate I General Education for Adults and into the Certificates in Spoken and Written English.
Pathway from Initial Certificate level on to Certificate l in General Education for Adults, or the Certificates in Spoken and Written English, to open up opportunities for further study and on to employment.
Classroom based part time.
Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review before enrolling to help confirm the proposed course is suitable. It will provide valuable information about an individual's existing skills and knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and/or employment goals.
