The Certificate II in Work Education is designed to support post compulsory school aged learners with permanent intellectual disabilities to develop employment ready skills, knowledge and behaviours for successful integration into the workforce. The course includes a work placement and an elective stream selected from the VET training options.

After completion of the course students could find employment in their chosen VET area.

Pathways

After completion of the Certificate II in Work Education course students may move into the workforce or may access to further specific vocational training in their chosen VET area.

It will provide valuable information about skills, knowledge, language, literacy and numeracy skills and whether the course will help in achieving learning and employment goals. Students who have previously completed the Certificate I in Work Education are ideal candidates to enrol in this course to build their skills, knowledge and confidence ready to enter the workforce or move on to further study.
