Students can pathway into courses such as Certificate IV in Ageing Support, Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and Diploma of Nursing.

Information for International Students

Students must be at least 18 years old when they commence studies.
 
This course includes a work placement. Prior to work placement, students must obtain and provide evidence of a satisfactory police clearance certificate, and must have a current valid level two first aid certificate. A uniform of navy or black pants, enclosed duty shoes and SuniTAFE logo embroidered polo shirt is required for students going on placement. This is arranged with the teacher prior to placement.
 
Each student will undertake a Pre-Training Review to determine individual student needs, their ACSF core skills profile and suitability to this course. 

Duration 26 weeks
English Proficiency IELTS 5.5 or equivalent test score, or successful completion of Upper Intermediate ELICOS at Sunraysia Institute of TAFE.

Academic Requirements Successful completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 11 high school studies.
