A delegation from Dali University, China will visit SuniTAFE's Mildura Campus tomorrow, Wednesday January 16. The purpose of the visit is to discuss two collaborative programs to provide opportunities for students from Dali University to study at SuniTAFE and La Trobe.
One program is a 20-week English study program and the second is joint delivery program 1+1+2 (1 year at Dali University + 1 year at SuniTAFE+ 2 years at La Trobe).
They will also sign the MOU with SuniTAFE at this visit. The visit will not only strengthen the relationship, but also develop the international student programs between Dali University and SuniTAFE.
Dali University is a multi-disciplinary comprehensive university run by the Yunnan provincial government with a student number of 18,000 on campus. They have undergraduate programs, masters programs and PhD programs.
During the visit they will also meet with the mayor and other representatives of MRCC due to the sister city relationship. They will also look at the general environment of Mildura to gain a better understanding about study and living environment for international students.
