SuniTAFE's inaugural Teaching and Learning Conference will be held on January 30 and 31.
The travelling conference will be held at both the Mildura and Swan Hill Campuses featuring five keynote external speakers and a range of internal presenters to showcase teaching practice.
Celebrating the theme 'innovate, collaborate and educate' the conference will develop teacher capability around the areas of: development and teaching excellence; digital literacy; industry immersion; innovation and change.
It will be facilitated by well-respected Vocational Education and Training professionals and experts in the fields of technology and mental health.
Keynote presenter session topics include technology mega-trends driving the future of education and digital literacy (presented by Stephen Joyce), assessment design and mapping (presented by Anni Yaringa), Loop (presented by Myles Lynch), stress and conflict management (presented by Neville Brady) and strategies to build effective educators (presented by Karen Dymke).
Additional presentations will cover adaptive and assistive technology, task writing, microsoft word for teachers and project based learning.

An invitation to participate was extended to auspice schools and Industry Reference Group members.
The conference aims to provide teachers with professional development that is egaging, thought-provoking and strengthens quality across SuniTAFE.
