Changes to eligibility rules for government funded training
Eligibility rules for government funding have changed at SuniTAFE and you could now be eligible for government subsidised funding, even if you weren’t in the past. This would heavily offset the cost of your course. The new subsidy rules offer far broader eligibility, whether you’re starting out, re-training or adding to existing skills.
What are the changes?
In the past, government funding for vocational courses was not available to those who had previously trained at the same or higher level. In 2017 eligible SuniTAFE students can save $1000s on the course of their choice if they’re returning to study, up-skilling or changing their career!
How do I know if I am eligible?
Funding rules can be complex depending on your circumstances and education history. The easiest way to find out is to get in touch with us and we will ask you a few questions to determine your likelihood for funding. We can only confirm this once you have selected a course and we have sighted all your relevant documents.
These exemptions are available through SuniTAFE being a Victorian TAFE provider and are on offer for a limited time only.
