This course is intended for people seeking to work in the Beauty industry. the course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide beauty services such as waxing, makeup applications, tanning, lash and brow services and other facets around client and customer service and consultation. The course will provide knowledge and understanding of the regulations, policies and procedures of a licensed beauty salon by providing real life beauty services on clients.
Employment as a beauty therapist, wax technician, beauty advisor, makeup technician, beauty salon owner/operator/manager.
Diploma of Beauty Therapy, which can be completed at SuniTAFE.
Classroom - Training will be delivered on site at SuniTAFE. Students must provide models for completing some practical assessments within the SuniTAFE Beauty Salon.
Applicants are required to undertake a Pre-Training Review to help confirm the course is suitable. Applicants must have access to a computer and the internet. Applicants under the age of 18 require parental permission to enrol into the course.
