Overview
The Certificate I in EAL (Access) helps adult learners from non-English speaking backgrounds build essential English language and literacy skills. Designed for beginner-level learners, including those with limited or disrupted educational experiences, the course develops confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing English. Students gain the foundation skills needed to progress to further study, training, and broader community participation.

All applicants complete a Pre-Training Review to ensure the course is suitable. This includes a discussion with a teacher about your English language skills, learning goals and support needs.
