Overview
This course introduces and provides practise using a range of standard Microsoft Excel features used in creating useful, effective and attractive spreadsheets for use in the workplace.
After completing this course users will be able to: Confidently manipulate data within Excel spreadsheets, use a range of standard Excel functions, use single and combinations of Excel functions to satisfy user requirements and present information in my spreadsheets in an effective and user-friendly manner.
The course topics are: Working with spreadsheet data, automating analysis using formulae and functions, automating formatting using conditional formatting and enhanced data presentation using Excel tables and charts.

The course is suitable for people with typical workplace digital literacy skills and basic Excel skills who are interested in being able to use Excel more effectively as part of their workplace roles.
The course is suitable to people in any workplace role that makes use of Excel. It is especially relevant for people working in the following roles: Business administration, Human Resources, Project and Program Management, and Education and Training.

It has been identified that some participants may continue onto Business studies or Accounting
Entry Requirements
Students are required to bring their own laptop with Microsoft Excel installed.
