Studying ELICOS at Sunraysia Institute of TAFE provides students with the opportunity to develop their English language skills for further study at Certificate or Diploma level in an English speaking country or for jobs requiring English capability.
ELICOS at SuniTAFE is an intensive 20 hours per week which will help you to gain confidence speaking English and improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Studying at SuniTAFE will help you to reach English levels required to study in Australia and around the world and improve your English for a global career.

Prerequisites | |
English Proficiency | IELTS 4.0-5.0 or equivalent test score. Students without a formal academic English test score will be interviewed to ensure they meet minimum requirements, or if already in Mildura they must sit a placement test. |
Academic Requirements | Successful completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 11 high school studies. |
Other Requirements | Students must be at least 18 years old when they commence studies. |
Course Progression | Learning a language is a different experience for everyone, so the time taken to complete a level and demonstrate proficiency may vary. Students must successfully complete each level before progressing to the next course in the program. Students must complete Upper Intermediate ELICOS before commencing a Certificate or Diploma course at SuniTAFE. |
