SuniTAFE's Diploma of Community Services students celebrated Wear It Purple Day this week. Hundreds of purple frosted cup cakes disappeared quickly to eager buyers, with funds raised being donated to the Wear IT Purple Day cause.
The students were tasked with raising awareness for a cause they thought Mildura could benefit from and they chose Wear IT Purple Day. The Wear It Purple organisation aims to support LGBTQ+ youths and promote awareness around sexual identity. For more information go to wearitpurple.org
