Leesa is an experienced executive who has worked in senior roles in the public water and environment sectors for over 20 years.

Leesa holds tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, and business, and is an IAP2 accredited - Advanced Engagement Practitioner. 

Leesa has established strong connections across many sectors in the region and is an advocate for inclusive access to services, including education and works closely with a wide range of community including culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, neurodiverse people, First Nations people, youth, and industry to ensure partnerships are strengthened and create equal access to services, facilities, and the local natural environment.
  
Meaningful community engagement is a passion for Leesa and is a Steering Committee member of Cultivator Inc, a local not-for-profit organisation that focusses on engaging and collaborating with the community, particularly youth through various forms including large-scale art installations, events, and workshops.

Leesa has served in many advisory roles and is currently a member of the Consumer Advisory Committee with Sunraysia Community Health Services.

Leesa was appointed to the SuniTAFE Board in May 2023.
