Sunraysia Institute of TAFE and Chances for Children Scholarship

The scholarships will provide $5,000 per year to support students who meet the following criteria:

• are Australian citizens
• are aged between 16 and 25
• reside in north-west Victoria or south-west New South Wales 
• are able to demonstrate financial hardship 
• will be studying at one of the Sunraysia Institute of TAFE campuses

Albert Heslop Memorial Travel Grant

The Travel Grant was established in honour of Albert Heslop, a state viticulturist, councillor of Swan Hill and Life Member of the Murray Darling Association.  The grant is for $4,000 (including GST).  $3,000 of the grant moneys will be awarded at the start and $1,000 granted on receipt of the written report.

Applicants must be aged between 18 and 40 years living and working in:

• NSW Shires of Wakool, Balranald, Central Darling or Wentworth; or
• Victoria Rural Cities of Swan Hill or Mildura, or Shire of Gannawarra

Dr Alan Antcliff AM Memorial Scholarship  

The Dr Alan Antcliff AM Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student undergoing training in Production Horticulture, who has achieved a level of excellence in the first stage or year of a course, and is going on to complete a second stage, or year, of a course.  The awardee would thus be selected at the conclusion of the first stage, or year. The scholarship is for $1,000 (including GST).  
 
The scholarship is intended to assist the student in meeting the costs of course fees, text books, and other requisites in the second year of the course.
