We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic professionals for the role of Teacher – Heavy Automotive to join the Heavy Automotive & Engineering team at the Swan Hill campus.
As the Teacher – Heavy Automotive, you will be required to contribute to planning, marketing, teaching and assessing Heavy Automotive qualifications up to and including Certificate III level, including apprentice, pre-apprentice and school-based teaching programs (VETDSS).
The appointee will work closely with the Education Delivery Manager – Heavy Automotive and Engineering and Education Business Unit colleagues to ensure these programs are structured around client demand in Swan Hill. This position may also be required to deliver training from our Mildura Campus.
Applicants will be required to have:
- Certificate III Heavy Automotive or above is essential to this position.
- A current Certificate IV TAE (40116) or willingness to obtain is essential to this position.
- Minimum of three years professional industry experience.
- Highly developed interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Successful Working with Children Check and Criminal Record check is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to teach in the delivery area at tertiary and higher education level is desirable.
- A successful criminal record check which is less than 6 months old
- A working with children check
