Course in Identifying and Responding to Family Violence Risk (22510VIC)

15 Feb 2022

Commencing in early March at the SuniTAFE Mildura campus, the Course in Identifying and Responding to Family Violence Risk is an accredited training program designed to help community service professionals provide an initial response to the family violence risk they may encounter.

This course is designed for professionals who may be required to provide an initial response to victims of family violence but do not have this as a core function to their work role.

These professionals may encounter victim survivors (including children and young people) and perpetrators through their interactions with children, families and/or adults within their work at universal service organisations such as schools, early childhood, justice, community and health services, sport and recreation organisations and faith-based institutions.

Successful completion of this course, will prepare you to identify and provide the initial response to family violence and it provides a pathway to further training in the Community Services, Health and Early Childhood Education training packages.
