Dr Alan Antcliff AM Memorial Scholarship
This award has been dedicated to the memory of Dr Allan Antcliff, AM.
The scholarship is awarded to a student undergoing training in Production Horticulture, who has achieved a level of excellence in the first stage or year of a course, and is going on to complete a second stage, or year, of a course. The awardee would thus be selected at the conclusion of the first stage, or year.
The scholarship is for $1,000 (including GST).
The scholarship is intended to assist the student in meeting the costs of course fees, text books, and other requisites in the second year of the course.
In consideration of the courses currently on offer, the scholarship will be awarded to:- The top student in the first year of the 2 year Diploma of Production Horticulture course
- In the event there are no students in the above course, then the scholarship is to be divided equally between:
- The top first year fruit growing apprentice, going into second year
- The top second year fruit growing apprentice going into third year
Should the above courses not run, or be replaced by new courses, then the guidelines stated above will be applied to replacement courses that relate to viticulture, horticulture or agriculture.
