SuniTAFE Open Day Prize Draw – Terms and Conditions Promoter

1.    Sunraysia Institute of TAFE (ABN 97 260 837 918) (“SuniTAFE”), is conducting a prize draw called “SuniTAFE Open Day 2026 – Register and attend for your chance to win” (“the draw”)

2.    These terms and conditions apply to the draw and by submitting your registration you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Any registration that does not comply with these terms and conditions may be deemed invalid and ineligible to win the prize.

3.    The registration period is open from 9 AM 3rd of June 2026 to 7 PM 26th of August 2026. (“registration period”) Any entry received after the expiry of the registration period will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries. SuniTAFE reserves the right to extend the registration period in its sole discretion.

Entry

4.    Entrants into the draw less than 18 years old must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian to enter. SuniTAFE may request photographic ID as proof of an entrant’s age and request written evidence of parental or guardian consent (if applicable). Any entrant that is unable or unwilling to provide the requested information will not be eligible to win a prize.
5.    To enter the Competition, Entrants must:
1.    Register for the 2026 August SuniTAFE Open Day through the registration form on the SuniTAFE website; and
2.    Attend and check in during the Open Day event

6.    Incomplete registrations that do not satisfy the above requirements will be ineligible to win a prize.

7.    Entry into the draw is free.

8.    Entrants may enter the draw once only.

9.    The draw is not open to SuniTAFE staff members (including their immediate family members).

10.    Any entries at the sole discretion of SuniTAFE that are deemed to be inappropriate or offensive will be ineligible to win a Prize and excluded from the draw.

11.    By submitting a registration, each Entrant warrants to SuniTAFE that:
a)    if below 18 years of age, they have the permission of their parent or guardian to enter the draw.
b)    all details provided with their entry are true and accurate.
c)    the Entrant has the right to submit their entry for this draw.
d)    the Entrant will comply with these Terms and Conditions.
e)    their entry, and SuniTAFE’s use of their entry, will not:
 
i.    infringe any person’s copyright or other intellectual property rights.
ii.    infringe any person’s privacy rights or any applicable privacy laws; or
iii.    any other laws.

12.    Each Entrant grants to SuniTAFE a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish and communicate their entry, including a right to sublicense it to other parties (including posting on SuniTAFE’s social media accounts) in any format for the purposes of the draw and for SuniTAFE’s internal business purposes (such as, but not limited to, business or service improvement), and for SuniTAFE’s marketing and promotional purposes.

Judging and Prizes

13.    Following conclusion of the registration period, on the date of 28 August 2026, SuniTAFE will hold a “prize draw” at its Mildura Campus, where 3 entrants will be randomly selected to win the prize (“Prize Winner”).

14.    The Prize will consist of: 1 x Ultimate Ears Boom 4 Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Black) MODEL: 984-001971(BOOM4)

15.    The prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.

16.    For the avoidance of doubt, each Prize Winner is only entitled to one prize.

17.    The Prize Winner will be notified within 14 days after the end of the date of the Draw by email. Prize Winners may also be published on SuniTAFE’s website and social media accounts.

18.    The Prize Winner is required to collect the Prize from the SuniTAFE Mildura Campus within 14 days of being notified.

19.    The decisions of SuniTAFE regarding entrant eligibility and Prize Winners are final and will be binding on each entrant. No correspondence or communications will be entered into.

20.    If 14 days after the Prize Draw, the Prize Winner cannot be contacted, cannot accept a prize or is deemed to be ineligible to enter the Competition, SuniTAFE reserves the right to select a different Prize Winner and will contact the new Prize Winner through the same methods above.

21.    If the original Prize Winner is unable to claim the prize, and a second prize winner is selected, they have the same 14-day opportunity to collect the prize. If the prize goes uncollected within that time period, SuniTAFE will consider the prize to be forfeited.

22.    If any event prevents or hinders the Competition or SuniTAFE’s ability to deliver a prize, SuniTAFE may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition, select another Prize Winner or provide a similar prize of equivalent value.

23.    SuniTAFE may refuse to award a prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of the relevant entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, or non-entitlement under, or breach of, these terms and conditions. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the person who submits an entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the email account with which the entry is associated.

Personal Information

24.    Each entrant consents to SuniTAFE using any personal information supplied or connected with their entry for the purposes of the Competition and for SuniTAFE’s marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to the adding of the entrant to the SuniTAFE marketing list, and the contacting of the entrant for follow up on their interest in study at SuniTAFE.

25.    Participation in the draw is entirely voluntary and does not constitute or imply any
obligation to enrol in a course or program at SuniTAFE. The draw is intended to promote engagement with the Open Day event only.

Collection Notice for SuniTAFE Open Day Giveaway Purpose of Collection

SuniTAFE is collecting your personal information as part of the Competition. The information you provide—name, email, phone number, study area interest, organisation/school, and age— will be used to:
•    Contact you regarding the giveaway
•    Share relevant course and event information
•    Support internal reporting and planning

Use and Disclosure

Your information will be used only for the purposes stated above. It will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent. Any secondary use will be consistent with the original purpose and authorised under the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic) or other applicable legislation.

Storage and Security

All data will be stored securely in accordance with SuniTAFE’s privacy and data protection policies. Access is restricted to authorised staff only.
