After two big weeks, SuniTAFE’s 2023 Careers Open Day season has come to an end. 

Swan Hill’s event was held last week, 6 September. 

Amongst the many visitors to campus were a number of school groups from as far away as Balranald. 

More than 100 secondary school students got a taste of what their future might be at SuniTAFE, chatting with department experts and touring the Swan Hill campus. 

The Automotive department put together an impressive display of their state-of-the-art equipment, complete with electric vehicles and a scissor lift. 

The day also offered a careers expo, with industry representatives from across the Swan Hill area demonstrating the many directions their SuniTAFE qualification may take them. 

Mildura held their event yesterday, 13 September. 

Student groups and members of the public streamed in throughout the day to see what was on offer. 

Course areas were brought to life in the new Nexus space. 

The Beauty department offered free treatments, Conservation and Ecosystem Management brought along a fish tank with endangered species from their pond, and Nursing had many of their simulated learning tools on display. 

The careers expo was also a big hit in Mildura, with representatives from 13 external organisations attending to discuss career options with visitors.

SuniTAFE was proud to open its doors to potential students on both campuses, to show off the quality learning opportunities available and promote connections with local industry.
