SuniTAFE Board Announces New CEO
The Sunraysia Institute of TAFE (SuniTAFE) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Brett Millington as the new SuniTAFE Chief Executive Officer.  He will succeed Mr Geoff Dea, who retires in June this year.

Mr Millington brings a wealth of experience to SuniTAFE as a respected and dynamic senior leader.  He is currently CEO of Mildura Regional Development, a peak economic and tourism organisation that is recognised for its collaborative and innovative approach.  He has previous experience at an executive level in the utilities sector and was the Program Director with Intelligent Water Networks, which partnered with corporations and government to meet challenges facing the water industry.

He is also a member of the Mallee Regional Partnership, the Mallee Regional Innovation Centre Strategic Advisory Panel, the Mallee Hydrogen Technology Cluster and the Northern Mallee Leaders Community Leadership Program Board of Management.

“Brett’s experience and achievements over many years clearly demonstrate his ability to navigate complex and challenging environments in order to achieve success,” said Neth Hinton, SuniTAFE’s Board Chair.  “We are delighted to have attracted someone as talented as Brett to continue the important task of providing the region with the skills it needs to flourish”.

“This appointment builds on the outstanding work of our departing CEO, Geoff Dea and the day-to-day dedication of our staff,” Ms Hinton said. “We are confident that in Brett we have found someone who will take SuniTAFE forward with innovation, integrity and a strong focus on industry, community, students and staff.”
