Work commenced on Monday 27 September to the roads, carparks and stormwater infrastructure at SuniTAFE’s Mildura Campus.

Locally based Waters Excavations Pty Ltd. was awarded the project contract to complete upgrades to the car park, stormwater infrastructure, road resurfacing, safety and security such as lighting. 

This $2.8 million project is enabled through SuniTAFE successfully obtaining a share of the $55 million Asset Maintenance Program announced by the Victorian Government in 2020. 

Over the coming months some entrances will be closed and some access will be restricted.  Up to date information on affected areas will be posted via SuniTAFE’s social media pages.

The primary concern during these works is the safety of SuniTAFE staff, students and visitors to the campus. To minimise any issues, students and any expected visitors will be made aware of any areas of works that may affect their access and must follow signage and direction at all times whilst visiting on-site.

These works are expected to be fully completed in April 2022 and during this time will create jobs for Sunraysia locals.
