Award Course

Overview

This course will achieve the specialisation of Advanced Training and Assessment. This qualification reflects the roles of experienced practitioners delivering training and assessment services usually within Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. They may have a role in leading other trainers and assessors and in providing mentoring or advice to new trainers or assessors as well as designing approaches to learning and assessment strategies across a significant area within the RTO. This course contains a 200 hour practicum which will be collected as part of your Teaching, Assessing and Professional Development that you'll undertake throughout the course.

Pathways

Further studies from the Diploma of Vocational Education and Training specialisation of Advanced Training and Assessment may include the Diploma of Vocational Education and Training specialisation of VET Leadership, Associate Degree or Graduate Certificate in VET.

Classroom - Training will be delivered on site at SuniTAFE.

Entry Requirements

Applicants are required to undertake a Pre-Training Review to help confirm the course is suitable. Ideally applicants enrolling into the Diploma of Vocational Education and Training will have at least 12 months of experience in training and assessing in an RTO, and MUST be currently in a teaching role.
