The achievements of SuniTAFE students, industry partners and staff for the 2021 academic year was celebrated on Friday.
SuniTAFE Graduation and Awards is an important event on the calendar. This year we were pleased to return to the Swan Hill Town Hall Performing Arts and Conference Centre after holding a virtual event in 2021 due to COVID restrictions.
The event recognised the hard work and determination of students, during another challenging year. It also acknowledged employers, parents, friends and family who supported and contributed to the students individual outcomes.
At the Swan Hill Campus in 2021 28 students completed their studies from 3 diploma qualifications. 15 students from 8 traineeships and apprenticeships completed their studies. 8 student awards and 6 scholarships were presented to deserving students.
Elise Neeson had triple the celebrations, graduating from the Diploma of Nursing and scoop two awards for Student of the Year (Diploma) and Health High Achiever.
Elise is focussed and committed, showing her academic ability early on in the program, displaying a strong study ethic and achieving great results in her written assessments. Her overall achievement within the Diploma has enabled her to gain employment at Swan Hill District Health. Elise had a near perfect score with every assessment submitted. She is empathetic, caring and committed to the nursing program.
