SuniTAFE’s newest international students were welcomed to campus on Wednesday 19 April with a fun and informative orientation day.

There are eight new international students commencing this term, from six different countries.

The students are enrolled in Commercial Cookery and ELICOS.

The Orientation Day connects students with the SuniTAFE services and key information to help them be successful during their study.

Many of the orientation sessions were aimed specifically at those who are new to Australia, such as an Australian culture and etiquette information session.  

Other sessions demonstrated the support available to all SuniTAFE students. This included an outline of all of the library services offered, such as printing and borrowing of texts.

A free lunch was enjoyed by the students in the Student Hub, allowing valuable time to meet each other and share stories and information.

SuniTAFE are accepting applications for July, October and January 2024, and also have scholarships available for students applying to start in July this year.
