More than ever, the skills we need to build our region and our state are learned at TAFE. The Free TAFE for Priority Courses reduce the financial barrier for students wanting to train in courses that lead to jobs in demand from Victorian employers. Students can train in courses that can lead to jobs in demand from Victorian employers.

Free TAFE for Priority Courses covers tuition fees for priority courses for students who are eligible for government-subsidised training. From January 2022, Free TAFE will expand to offer more than 60 courses, helping to address Victoria’s skills and training needs for its future.  

Free TAFE courses lead to occupations in industries where there are likely to be more jobs and possibilities for career progression into the future.
